Criminal background and child maltreatment checks are required and performed on all employees and volunteers in the child care center.
The Primrose Child Care Center was established in 1988 with eight children and one teacher.
We start off each day with a prayer circle, and we have a weekly chapel service.
A summer day camp is provided.
We provide before and after care for four local elementary schools. Home work time is provided each afternoon because we want each child to succeed in school.
You can help someone improve their reading skills simply by listening to them read and then correcting the reader when he or she mispronounces a word. If that is what you want to do then call Angel Pike at 501-888-8175
Tutoring Help Available
For those children that are enrolled in our after school care program, Homework help and tutoring are available every day. If your child is struggling in a subject and needs extra help, please speak with Ms Angel Pike or Ms Gale Taylor in the afternoons. If you would narrow down areas that your child needs help with, we will provide those types of work activities to help them. But we cannot help them with things that we do not know about. Please communicate with us; we are here to help your child succeed in school.
HELP WANTED
- The daycare is still collecting the Box Tops for Education. Please clip them from the boxes and turn them in. Every top is worth 10 cents. They add up fast!
- The daycare also collects used ink cartridges. We recycle these as another fundraising opportunity. Bring them to us and we will take care of the rest. Thanks!
Daycare Ditties
Summertime is supposed to be carefree and laid back. Oh but, not here at the Child Care Center. We are busy, busy, busy. There are field trips to go on, crafts to make, games to play, and snacks to eat. Oour day camp group has been kind of small this year, but I will say it is much more about quality than quantity. We have a good group of kids and a good bunch of teachers. The kids are safe and having fun, and that is what summer is all about.
You are welcome to join us any Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the sanctuary for our Holy devotional time. I can promise you that you will receive a blessing, too.
